Talofa Lava, my name is Lesina Petelo. I have one child at NBC School. I am also a member of the Catholic Parish of Christchurch East, and regularly attend mass at this church which is affiliated with the school.

I have two girls at NBC. I work as a Vocational Consultant for the NZ Spinal Trust. I believe that every child is entitled to the best education available and look forward to working with the Board.

I have 2 children at NBC. I aim to help ensure all children are given every opportunity to learn to their full potential. I look forward to my role in the BOT.

I have one child at NBC, and work as a Community Support Advocate, for a community organisation. I look forward to working with the rest of our board to achieve fantastic outcomes for our children and community.

I have strong links to the school community through leadership from both the PTFA and the Whanau Group. I enjoy working with the parents and members of the board to ensure we can achieve success for the students of NBC

As a Proprietor’s representative with responsibility for the maintenance of the Catholic Character of NBC she brings years of experience as a teacher and Principal in Catholic and Secondary Schools and a commitment to supporting parents in their God-given task of the education and faith formation of their children.

Proprietors Representative Maureen brings a wealth of experience as an educational advisor and past principal of a catholic school.

I am the Teacher at New Brighton Catholic. I am involved in the Whanau Group at school. I am interested and enjoy teaching history, art, music and science.

As CEO of the Board, I am involved in all aspects of the BOT governance and take these through to management for implementation in the day-to-day running of NBC.
