Houses
Pupils are divided into four houses that help create a motivating and safely competitive environment, and foster an important sense of belonging for the children. Each week they look forward to the house points being read out in assembly!
The houses are:
- Aquinas (yellow)
Named after Saint Thomas Aquinas, Patron Saint of Learning - Chanel (red)
Named after Saint Peter Chanel, one of the first Missionaries who came to NZ. He was the first martyr in Oceania. - Euphrasie (blue)
Named after Sister Euphrasie Barbier, founder of The Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions order which started our school in 1935. - Pompallier (green)
Named after Bishop Jean-Baptiste Francois Pompallier, the first Bishop of Aotearoa.
